The season finale of Couples Therapy started off with Jenna Jameson telling John Wood about going to her mother’s grave. She, John, and Dr. Jen flew to Las Vegas to visit the grave site. As they got closer to their destination, an extremely nervous Jenna seemed to revert back to a child-like state, which is understandable; this was a huge moment in her life. Jenna was simply amazed when she saw the grave; she never even knew her mother’s birthday until she saw it on the grave. She then kneeled down and talked to her mother, telling her how she misses her, loves her, and knows that her mother will always be with her in spirit. Jenna said it was a “life-changing” experience. The experience also improved Jenna and John’s relationship, making them feel even closer

Next up was Treach Criss and Cicely Evans. They discover that a friend of theirs invited an unwelcome guest into their home. Treach’s response is complete and utter rage towards Cicely. After a long and loud couple of minutes, the other couples begin to get concerned. Ciciely explained to the other house guests why they were fighting and that she did not understand why he got so angry. Cicely feels like she’s living in fear again because of his extreme rage and decidds to call Dr. Jen for help. Cicely felt abused and like he was sabotaging the relationship; in her eyes at that point, the relationship was over. Treach said it was like they were taking so many steps back. He was mainly upset because he felt like he was losing his family.

Couples Therapy 2014 then had their last group outing together. Dr. Jen surprised the couples by taking them out on a boat to celebrate their completion of therapy. While all of the other couples got on the boat, Dr. Jen pulled Treach and Cicely to the side to talk about their argument. A still slightly hostile Treach told Dr. Jen that he felt disrespected because, to me, it seems like he felt like she didn’t do what he wanted, when he wanted her to do it. Cicely said that she was embarrassed, hurt, and scared. She also went on to say that, “sometimes you just need to know when to let it go,” which obviously hurt Treach’s feelings. Dr. Jen told them they still needed more time to cool off  because they were both still very upset. She urged them to keep trying because they did so much work and made so much progress; they can’t possibly let one argument throw that all away.

Later on that night all of the Couples Therapy 2014 couples, Dr. Jen, and Dr. Mike Dow had dinner. Dr. Jen asked each couple to make a toast to each other. Everybody has a nice toast and it’s a great moment, until we get to Treach and Cicely, who give ominous toasts to each other, which kind of kills the vibe for a moment. However, leave it up to Juan Pablo to pump things up again!  Juan Pablo does his toast and ended it by giving Nikki Ferrell a ring….a promise ring. Really, dude? But Nikki looked overjoyed, so I guess it’s all good.

Last to toast was John and John. John decided to be different and show a video he made for Jenna. The video ends with John saying that he needed to ask Jenna something. Once the video ends, John asks Jenna to stand up, gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. She said yes! It was definitely a great way to end the evening.

The next day the couples pack their things and get ready to leave. Dr. Jen made sure to catch up with Treach and Cicely before they left though. The conversation went better this time and both parties were able to calmly and effectively tell each other how they felt about the situation and each other. Treach opened his heart and told Cicely that she is his everything and he wants to fight for her because he does not want to lose her. Dr. Jen suggested that they both continue to do therapy once they leave the show, which they both agreed to. The session ends with the two reconciling and leaving the house happy as ever.

Well guys, that’s the end! What did you think about the season finale?
